...in replacing a bulb in the dash binnacle.
MK2 GTX. Small blue light doesn't come on when I put my full beams on. Suspect either bulb or a dodgy connection.
I'm hoping it not going to be too big a job to take the binnacle out to have a look. Any of you experienced gents able to point me in the right direction?
Thanks muchly.

Slightly off topic (well, completely off topic actally) but weren't there talks of a bristol meet? did that ever take place?

I have changed the bulbs without removing the clocks before just by removing the under dash tray and panel in the drivers footwell which you would end up having to remove anyway in order to detach the speedo cable, wiring and vacuum hose from the clocks, should take you no more than an hour from start to finish, quicker if your used to taking it apart

You won't have changed the main beam warning bulb/led without taking the clocks out .....
