Scirocco Register

So as many of you may have seen i recently finished the engine swap on my 91 Scala. The engine is great however the feel of the car is not so good. Now i have changed a lot on the car including hubs (G60) bottom ball joints (G60) longer track rods to accomodate these, powerlex bushes at the front, new top mounts and coilovers too. I get a bit of wheel wobble at higher speeds and the steering feels incredibly light, plus it tends to bounce around a bit. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas what may be up? I havent had it professionally tracked and cambered, just did it on kit i had access to at home. It isnt inspiring spirited driving in anything other than a straight line which is not what i want from a Rocco. Any suggestions/thoughts/comments welcome

Using the g60 bits you have increased the track on the front and lowered the angle of the steering arms, did you fit g60 struts or did you machine the front hubs? how did you go about modifying the wishbones to accept the g60 ball joints? did you change the driveshafts to match or are you still using your originals as if originals are being use i would think they are a bit short, reason for all the questions is so to suss out what you have and how to help you

The wishbones i drilled an extra hole in the centre to accept the ball joints, i am also using the original driveshafts. I am wondering if i would have been better off using original hubs with adaptor brackets for the larger brakes as this would have kept it mostly original scirocco gear...

I would go with adapter brackets personally makes things far simpler and saves messing up the geometry

i suspect therein lies your problem. with it being not quite as standard as it used to be, i'd be wanting to take it to someone who really knows what they're doing, not a fast fit place.
