Scirocco Register

I've been asked to post as a few people on VZI have mentioned not being able to register on the forum.

hi, have replied.

for some reason its only vzi people who have a problem on here.

anyway - we get 20-30 sign up attempts per day.

i check all of them - although randon usernames - you know the sort of thing that reads like it was typed in russian by a phillipino on acid are deleted on sight.

border line ones - ok names but strange emails that don't come up as forum spam = an email to clarify certain/alternative details.

if a name and email address come up as in use on other recognizable forums comes up it will usually get approved.

vegascleaner has appeared almost daily recently but comes up as a spammer on google.

^^ ^^ ^^ its a fair bit of time out of a week to sort through all those. Hats off indeed.

And then, the notification of registered accounts has to be cleaned out of the membership inbox also....

I fully empathize with Sean on this, what a complete waste of time spent on nerds. May I suggest an automatic email response along the lines of " Go forth and multiply with yourself " might help.

I know Steve3002 as a forum user on Club Polo, had the same Polo as me

Also a very helpful and knowledgeable guy with a different name on Club GTI.
