Scirocco Register

Hi all can anybody help me off here please Will a VW GOLF MK1 GTI GL, CENTRE CONSOLE or VW Golf MK1 GTI Cabriolet fit in a mk 2 vw scirocco many thanx.

Why would you want to Gavin? Where would you fit your radio, the Golfs have them in the dash?

Can't you put them in place of the ashtray and blanking plate? - I think that's where a series of 3 dials is usually fitted.

The face plate is to wide they are in, iam thinking to get one our 3 mechanics who is all so a car audio electronic shion and all so good at carpentry to make a wooden box paint it black and put the vdos with the face plate in a wooden box then fix them at the bottom of the centre console.

You can buy the exact size DIN plate from eBay. If you're using Audi gauges then it'll all fit, no need to make more grief for yourself, as long as that is secured then the gauges are fine. Wiring them in is a doddle but I think I remember already sending you the wiring stuff, if you need I again let me know.

This would be what you need I reckon. It may be a tiny bit too wide (i have no idea what the dimensions are) but worst case you could just shave a little from both sides.

Gavin, Sam on here used a VW radio blanking plate that I sold him to fit 3 guages into his GTX.

ok gauges are all ready in a facer front plate just some thing to go around the bottom and sides to fit in the bottom of the console were they are going to placed.

No thanx and please stop trying to sale me things like you did at the national meet with the aerial when you asked me twice to be honest i find you very rude and pushy and tactless and so does my wife Mollie who has had breast cancer and we have both lost our mums with it, if we want parts it will be put in the wanted listings on here so please stop bugging us, many thanx.
