Hi all,

Only recently joined this site, glad I did as everyone's cars look good :-D I've owned my 1984 MK2 GL for a few years now, it had done 24k miles when we picked it up, and we've taken it up to 25k by taking it on weekend drives and to different shows. Anyway, I look forward to using the site and seeing other peoples Scirocco's :-) Here's a couple of pics of my car :-)

Hello all,
I am a french girl (sorry for both ;-) ), owner of a 1983 Mk2 GT and trying to be a daily user from march to october when she is ok for.
Please, excuse my non perfect english, I hope I won't make too big mistakes.
I am member of the french national scirocco club http://www.passion-scirocco.fr/Joomla/ and registered on its forum so I won't be very often with you.
I have registered here first to thank people who helped me in August (see my next post on Mk1 subject) and second to welcome you to a special event in France (I will post tomorrow about it).
I have ever seen some of your nice pictures about national meet and I hope I will have time for more with you.
Here is a picture of my car :

Bienvenue! Ton anglais est certainement plus mieux que ma français. C'est toujours un plaisir quand les gens d'autres pays visitez notre site - et il n'y a besoin s'excuser d'être une femme! Et quelle belle voiture.

I'll get my wife to write the French next time - she studied it at university.

Welcome along frenchyrocco.
Where in France are you based?
Myself and MrsMM did an epic tour of France in 2014 in our Bieber convertible Scirocco.
Last year we did France and Italy in the same car

Thank you :-D
I am living in Dordives, about 55 miles South of Paris, on the way to South of France, not far away from Fontainebleau castle (Napoléon...), not far away from Loire castles...
What a nice car you have !
and nice pictures from your trip !
Do you plan to come in France this year ?
If I am here, I will be very pleased to welcome you at home on your way or for a few days.
And the event I speak about in international section of diary dates is in a very nice part of France and on the road to South...
Anyway, if not possible this year, your are welcome anytime at home :beers:

We may go to France this year, however it is unlikely it would be in a Scirocco. :-( We will more than likely visit our friends who live in the Dordogne

Even without a Scirocco, you are welcome at home on your way to Dordogne, but it is not really the straight way...
