had another tinker with the car, sorted static and ignition timing for good and also sorted the fuel/air mix and idle.

Basically, I have a car that is running well enought to take her out and thrash the tits off it!

Passed with no advisories. did mention no mounts for the exhaust to which I shrugged lol

Tax next and I still have a running problem though :(

Ok that is great news about the mot, whats wrong with the running is injection or carb Dan? i my be ablie to help felling that i will ask all my machnics on monday which there is 3 of them , 3 heads are better then 1 lol

Never had it running right mate. We tweak it a little and think its good but the reality is that the car is not well lol.
More tinkering to be done. Double check ignition timing next.

Plenty of thoughts from a lot of people mate, Perhaps it needs a trip to the Phirm or Vince at Stealth as he is supposed to be pretty good with valvers

Sorted a problem with the Scirocco, took it for a spin and raced my mate in his Astra Diesel 150bhp (quite a quick car if you dont know) and he was creeping past me even after he got a good exit on to the slip road..

We are doing ok! Rollers tomorrow! See if my horses are back in the stable,
