mark1gls wrote:Welcome along to the register, I noticed you said you removed the front wheel arch liners are you putting them back? If not you'll need to keep it clean in there, it's the down fall of the Mk1 Scirocco as its a really great mud tap in those corners and thats why VW fitted them to the Mk2.
yes mate i removed the archliners as on full lock the tyres judt touched the liners, i will only be using the car on sunny days, bit of a toy really, the inner wings are smothered in waxoyl just in case!! yes i my make a few shows in the southern area will keep me eye out for somes dates and its a scala model, will post up interior pics when i get some, thanks for the welcomes!!

Here's an updated photo of mine, taken shortly after a much-needed clean.
Of course it starts raining immediately after!

It's not frosty here, I'm simply keeping it in Carbon Freeze to protect it until the good weather arrives.

My 89 GTX, Gunna keep it pretty much standard.
I'm 19 and live in north Devon, i have been into classic cars all my life, with my dad (mostly British cars from the 60's and 70's, but now the Germans have invaded!)
I'm an apprentice paint sprayer so hope to give mine a respray at some point as she's starting to fade and to sort out some crazing issues.
Shes my daily and only car so gets driven constantly.
