Dk (Baikal??) blue Mk2 GTI - NRX ***X
Spotted this morning getting on the A34 at Speen, heading south at 10:05.
Looked a little worn, but had original GTI lights, single wiper and tarantulas.
The gent driving had a red scala drivers seat (apologies for staring).
Made my drive into work today a great deal more interesting.

Excellent spot. That's got to be one of the rarest spots hasn't it? I've seen loads and loads of mark 3s but I can't be bothered posting them.

J-plate GTII, metallic green, in Harborne this evening (9th April) near the golf course. Looked pretty standard and in good nick.

Red MK3 coming out of Halfords in Banbury IIRC. Never seen one in red before. Looked good. Matched my MK2 nicely. I wonder if the owners of MK3s realise their heritage.

Was followed by a chap in a dark coloured mk2 (think it was dark blue but couldn't really tell) down the M27 near Southampton for a while yesterday at about 3:15. Didn't get the plate or model but looked in pretty good nick.
