Hello every one bit of fresh meat here. my names Anthony im based in chichester west sussex, i have just purchased an E reg scirocco GT its in a nice bright pink colour (was once red) it is very smelly full of dog hair and doesn't start but at £50 quid it should be a winner! its got a genuine 75k from new seems to have very little in the way of rust and was only taken of the road because it has been replaced with a modern merc. the old boy that owned it was thinking off weighing it in but i said id have a go at saving it first.
any way thats enough about the old heap for now ill get some pictures and a thread going once i have it home.
Hi I'm Taylon from North London. I recently bought a an E reg 'rocco as I've always wanted once since I was young.
Its in pretty good nick if I'm honest, its 1.8 carb'd scala auto. Well was... Then we dropped that in favour of a vr6, but after too much headache and ballache fighting that heavy thing and making it fit we just stuck it in a 1.4 mk3 for fun. Now we're sticking an ABF in.
I'll get my project thread up soon too.
