Tayside is indeed true. Funky should know, as he is my number one stalker!!

Anyway, thank you for the hellos, and cheers for the pic adjustments too.

Mr Wolf does not drive, he merely created the white shagpile over tartan interior, which I have been carefully removing from the red car as I am contemplating selling it. :crying:

The green car has indeed been around Knockhill a fair bit in the past.

Firstly danster, Scotland N, S, E or West.
Looks like you must be up north with that lovely coat you have on. Only joking just love the pic.
Man's two best friends in the one pic, perfect, I've already got a copy on my scirocco wall.
As far as I can gather there must be about six or seven ACTIVE members north of the border.
To date I have met one, MacColl, and hope to meet DT1 next week and more at Biggar at the end of May.
DT1 is doing me a favour and I've never met him, that's the kind of club it is.
Do you do Knockhill for the track car ?

Hi and welcome again lynn t. :hi:
Nice to see another member in Scotland
Nice to see some pics of your car.
Is it you that is looking for a metering head, if it is I may be able to help you out if you get stuck as I'm breaking an 84 1.8 injection.
If you can find the part numbers off your own system and post them up I'll see what I can do for you.
Apparently the part numbers vary and it is not just a simple match up.
There is a great link on here that will help you identify all the parts, just click on the year of your car and away you go.

Welcome to you both. :buddy: :buddy:

Ill double check the part number from the metering head on her & let you know. She is a dx 1.8 K-jetronic

I remember the 'white shagpile' from last year when I bought the electric windows from you. :good:

I seem to recall the weather was glorious that day. :chill:

Welcome to both you and Lynn.

Great, two more Sciroccos for Biggar. It might be an idea to meet outside the showground and convoy in and take over the Show and Shine stand, mass exposure to our cars.
Look forward to seeing another Havanna brown Storm. OMR's metering head should be the same as from the same era!

That is my poor old girl. Looking more than slightly sorry for herself. It will be a while before she looks as amazing as she did before I loaned her to a 'friend'.

Hi, recently signed up as I should be collecting my first rocco on Tuesday

As you can prob guess from my forum name I'm Alex, based in Cannock, Staffordshire.

Had a few cars and all been VW's mainly polos, but after a short ownership of a Corrado I couldn't go back to a smaller car, and as my mate had a Scirocco for sale I couldn't say no!

Its a Mk2 Scala Inj. Or it was, its currently a shell, all complete bar the engine. The body work and interior look to be in very good condition so should make a nice project. I'll get some pics up when I get it home and put a post up in the project section.

Hi guys, another newbie.

Bought my rocco a couple days ago so thought I would get on here :D. Its a mk2 gt with a couple mods on the engine. but apart from that its standard.
unfortunately I've got to wait for my current insurance policy to run out before i can take it for a proper spin on may the 17th. being 19 an extra year no claims helps.
Ive got big plans for it, with what spare student loan I can afford, so im gonna be scoping for ideas on here.

thats pretty much it
