Thanks, yes carb freezing can be a real issue without decent hot air coming back off the manifold. I've also got a heater to fit to my Weber which I think helps quite a bit. I'll get pics up when the carb goes on.
Car now has full new suspension/wishbones/ mainly Febi Bilstien bushes at the front struts all de rusted/Rustoleum paint for boge inserts and GSF 40mm lowering springs see this thread..

Carb was rebuilt during a late night Nascar race..


The door pod builds have been a real challenge, resorted to more woodwork and Pink Grip adhesive which is commonly used by your average tradesman..

Screwed and bonded on without speaker grills quite pleased but they touch the lower shelf on the passenger side and a bit close on the other

Tweeters on dash..

Hmmmm Would like the car to be a bit more nose down (might be tyres being lower profile on the front)

Probably the cleanest the car has been newly refurbished mirrors fitted. Paint will be cut/polished once I sort various rust spots..
