thanks, scrappy gave me a hand with the rear pipe and can confirm that this stuff itches
happy with the down pipe but it may be in vain, my abf is kjet but has an ecu so may need a lambda i can use a rocco 16v ecu too but need to look into if they use one. hopefully its only needed as part of the digi setup
still to do the top of the manofold and see how it sits on the uj

some more wrapping,
made space for the lambda sensor, working round it was quite complicated
wrapped the upper part to but photobucket is in no hurry for it to show in my gallery

swapped the braken res over and fitted the wrapped 421,
as expected it touches the wrapped uj but 2 layers of wrap should do it
also got some scirocco 16v injector lines, look brand new although they dont fit the dx injectors. they slide right over the top of the dx injector without having to thread and the internal thread is fewer and wider spaced, 5 rather than 8

ive got dx and abf lines but neither is long enough for all 4 lines as 2 have to bend round the back of the metering head. ill post a pic soon and itll make more sense

more progress,
tapped the abf throttle body to take the 16v cable holder, never tapped a hole before so took it slow and steady and worked opposite corners
gave me an interesting problem as all 16v roccos are lhd so the cable doesnt fit neither does uk 16v cables so took advice on a mk2 golf 1.3 cable
