Another little job, replace the hose from block to water pump as a tiny split meant it used a tank of coolant on way to AllTypes and back

Not much to update on, another hose replaced, this time the oil cooler hose, along with the unexpected job of putting a new connector on the alternator earth wire which broke when I looked at it...

All ready for the National and Tatton Park this weekend

WARNING LARGE UPDATE

Righto then, time to update on the perils of the red shed

She had a good time camping and at the National (will update with pics when I find some), almost had a trouble free run up to Tatton Park until got to J18 M6 and the engine note changed, pulled into Knutsford Services, checked the leads (all good) took the cap off and found this

Image

Yep that's one melted rotor :focus:

Cue limping it to our hotel for the night, mercifully only two miles from Tatton, limp it to the show in the morning and spend most the day trying to find a rotor that would fit/work. Managed to get it running (in a manner of speaking) and limped home at 45 mph

New rotor arm and new plugs have sorted the problems, just typically happened when I had no spares on me and on a Sunday!

In other news, firstly a nice HDR shot I got of the shed at another show

Image

And also another little project picked up for £70, some winters that look strangely like TSW Hockenheims

Although it appears I'll need at least 10mm spacers all round, almost touching the coilover without a tyre on
