I understand that it is;

1588 - 85bhp@5600 & 125Nm@3800
1595 - 75bhp@5000 & 125Nm@2500

but why did VW consider that an improvement?

The power curve & the gearing are like a diesel.

A contentious 4th post and probably in the wrong place.

Hi I'm Lisa and have had my 1990 GTII for over a year.

I've been lurking for a little while but have finally got it together enough to say hello. :hi:

Also hoping get the benefit of you peeps wisdom as my Rocco has been giving me a hard time over the last few months and is currently very unwell! :beg:

Welcome aboard. Don't have much knowledge to impart myself - that was one of the reasons I signed up!

However, this is a great place to learn and there are some very wise men (and women) to be found on the forum. Post some photos of your 'rocco when you get a chance as it'd be nice to see what ou're working on.

You need a photobucket account or something similar Lisa, up load your pics to it, then copy and paste the img code on here. :good:

Well here are photos of my car and as far as I know it's pretty much standard. It's my daily drive and has done about 16,000 miles in the last year.....

Hello!

Ive just bought myself a mk2 scirocco storm, and thought id sign up here to have some banter and gain some knowledge!

my name is Ed, and im from Yorkshire, currently in Hertfordshire at University!

Im a classic mini man at heart, but decided it was time to get something 'sensible' for my final year of uni... :lol:

anyway!
