Just a quick hello from me. Been driving Sciroccos since 1982 when i bought my brand new MK2 GL :yup: Then in 1990, changed it for my current roc, a MK2 GT2 (1989)

I'm from the Wirral and was delighted to see that my roc had been 'spotted' somewhere in Bangor, Gwynedd.

Really good to be here.

Hello!

The name is Adam and I like Volkswagens, I also work with them.

I drive a 77 Scirocco, 91 Golf and a Derv Golf (daily)

Thats pretty much it to be honest.

Hi all my names Stuart, I live north of the boder in Carnoustie - bought my very first Volkswagen and its a 1992 Scirocco GT2

Only bought it as a run around whilst I do some work on my daily driver (1994 Audi Coupe 2.0 16v) I'm an Audi man through and through but i thought it wouldn't hurt to try a VW. After driving the Scirocco home I've fallen in love, it needs alot of work to get it back to its former glory but I think I'll maybe be keeping it now!

Can't wait to get restoring her!

Welcome. Hope to see you on the road when I'm down visiting relations.

I'm from Arbroath originally so I'm down that way quite regularly.

Totally unrelated...don't suppose you've heard of Coatech have you?

Hi, yup I know Coatech in Carnoustie, they have built themselves an excellent reputation in the east coast and having seen some of there work I'm not surprised.

They've got such a good reputation, I hear a company in Arbroath has started using 'Coatech' in there name to steal some buisness. Unsurprisingly there not pleased and I've been told by a friend there offering to match any price from the Arbroath firm.

Thanks for that, they were recommended by the VW dealer in Aberdeen.

Look forward to seeing your car when it's sorted, plastermaster.

Hi ian, it is a blue one and it's from the Midlands so its probably the same one.
Going to keep it totally standard (it's too good to mess with) apart from the new
piper cam that is.
