Yeah it looks a beautyon the outside. Interior needs a clean, but takes two secs. Going to be spendng a day on it soon and have it moped and waxed.

Hmm, I would be prepared to get stopped.

Those wheels stick a long way outside the arches.

My rears stick out a good inch and I've never had a problem. Still, never say never though.

Wasn't thinking about the tyres, it's the spikey centre hub I was thinking of, you might get pulled under Section 40A RTA 1988.

Yeah, they might be the same as E-Types but on an E-Type the hubs don't extend outside the wheel arches and are standard for the car, neither of which apply to yours.

Not wanting to spoil your enjoyment of your new wheels, just thought I would mention a potential drawback. :buddy:

Same system works on here (I hope)
Open up Post Reply and type in your story.
Open up photobocket and click on "my albums"
Once your album is open drag the mouse over the photo you want to post and you will see IMG CODE appear.
Left click in the box to the left of IMG Code and the number wil disappear - copied will appear - then the number will re-appear.
Click back onto the sciroccoregisterforum.co.uk ------- and right click your mouse and then click "paste" on the drop down box.
The IMG Code should appear on your post to sciroccoregisterforum.co.uk.
Do this with all the photos you want to load then when you are finished click preview before submitting your post.
Possibly more experienced posters than me will have a quicker method and pass it on to you.
Good luck.

Nothing like a nice red MkII GT, unless it’s a white one! :yup:

Kind of reminds me of how mine once looked as opposed to now …

Oh well, good things come to those that wait!
