Try and edit them out of Photobucket to the required size - see above for sizes...then upload them to photobucket again.
I had problems with resizing in photobucket, but doing this worked.

Re: Post pics, sig pics and avatar sizes
If you have photoshop it can be done wuite easily.
Set the size to whatever is required, post your picture in. Then clic "Save for Web" and drag the colour / quality down until you get it under 6kb.
Alternatly, send me the pic and i'll do i for you

Erm... I've got pics on Club GTI that I can't upload here. I think your info might be based on an old version of the Club GTI forum. Even after resizing in photobucket, I still can't upload them here. It would be great if this was sorted out, as I'd add in a build/development thread for my track car.The Autoad wrote:800x600 is pretty big for a Board, been on club GTI? The rule there is for smaller pics.
Is there a file size limit as well? I'm wondering if that's the cause of the photobucket problem?

How on earth do I get a picture in my signature? I have the picture at the correct size, just can't see a way of adding to the sig

You need to host it externally (or I do anyway)RevDarkman wrote:How on earth do I get a picture in my signature? I have the picture at the correct size, just can't see a way of adding to the sig
Stick it on photobucket or imageshack, get the link. Paste it into your sig. (in account settings) with the img tags wrapped around it

It was that size when we built this thing, changed since then. ho humMikeH wrote:Erm... I've got pics on Club GTI that I can't upload here. In the abscence of an automatic resizing solution, have upped the size to 1024 x 1024 for now. This is Photobucket's recommendation for a 17" screen.

Re: Post pics, sig pics and avatar sizes
When there is a pic on a thread I can only see just over half of it,it seems the bit on the right with your name, post count and location is too big.how do I rectify it?
