Glad I found it was there in a way as I was starting to get annoyed I'd gone to all that trouble for nothing ;-)

So another addition and probably the best 'car part' I've ever owned!

Been looking for a set of these for months, a genuine non refurbished and never split set of BBS RS001.

When a set came up and I was able to a deal with a set of wheels I owned I couldn't not get them...

11. Finally had my replacement bonnet painted, couldn't be happier with the quality of the work.

Aswell as that I decided to have the slam panel done and blown in to the tops of the wings as there was a few little rust patches.

Are these similar to the ones that VW heritage are selling? My 24 year old originals have seen better days

Hi mate,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner!

These are the genuine VW ones because I'm fussy at around £30 each. The gold coloured ones they sell are non genuine but do exactly the same job for nearly half the price!

Hope this helps

Chris

I just went with the cheapo ones from heritage, as you say they both do the same job, where did you get the dealer plates from? Love the orginality

Exactly!

The plates are from a company called DMB Graphics mate. There a few different options of dealer label that you can get, I went for a 'dealer set' as you get a sticker with them aswell.

You just need to email them a picture of your V5 after placing your order.

Cheers

Thanks for the info! Reason why I love this forum haha. Wonder if they would do a " scirocco " for shows etc. Sort of the plate what would be attached in a dealer. Seen a few people with "golf"

Cheers

You planning many shows this year? Seems to be a lack of sciroccos at most of them!

Found a good use for 'scene' tape... Holding the bodykit in place while the adhesive cures ;)

Had a few bits back from zinc plate, I can see me spending a lot of money with them now :(

Also had the headlight frames done in silver but not pictured.

Haven't updated this for ages but I've got loads of pictures to get uploaded, almost ready for elsecar next weekend!

The bonnet isn't fully down hence why it doesn't line up...
