Thabks bud, first photo was all down to glen... he took some rest ones today.
The gearbox locked up on me and shredded the gear... the women behind me shouted at me saying you slammed your foot on the brakes and your light don’t even work..
I was like yeah I didn’t touch the breaks and had as much idea as you that I was going to stop lol.

So now I need to find out what gearbox it is and get a replacement.. in under a month ideally lol

Went on a road trip today to see Mark from classic VW and managed to get a replacement box
Just to do an oil change on it and get it fitted in time for the shows!
Plan is to get the old one rebuilt once it’s off for future use

Gearbox oil I’ve been using in both my cars for a few years and it helped with my cold start 2nd gear crunch and makes the gear change nice and smooth.
2l is plenty to fill the gearbox.
