Hi,
No progress to speak of recently, it's been more a case of getting everything together, such that you can see where everything go's, then know what to do to make it all work properly!!
So now it's all about clearance!
Rear floor needs a notch for the arm, front needs ( loads!!) chassis leg reformed, steering and driveshaft tunnels raised and last but not least strut tops raised and strengthened. Not much if you say it quickly
And all done to look like its always been that way, as Hayden ( panelkraft ) does like things to look tidy!!
Also need to consider where to route the exhaust......... as there's no room for it underneath on full drop :mafia:

You can get track rod flip kits to save notching for the rack arms. So you can keep it factory

My soild top mounts will be for sale soon if your interested?.. They give just over an inch raise :vcool:

If not im interested in what you do top mount wise. there is zero room to play with :crying:

Cheers winston ( when I just typed your name the predictive text on my iPhone was saying Einstein! Honest I'm not shitting you!)
The flip kit sounds cool, though I have to admit the steering, along with all the running gear isn't going to be factory! Well.... Not mk1 scirocco factory!! :vcool:
I say no more...... for now anyway!
And the solid mounts I'd deffo be interested in, would they work with the air struts?

I should be at players. :vcool:

The wings you have fitted have a rubber trim round the indicator. Ive never seen this before in any pictures but the wings ive bought for my car need that trim. are they factory or after market wings do you know?

Once again it wasn't the year of the mk1 scirocco... maybe next year guys?

+1 on updated project pics :hehe:

Cool, we should deffo meet up for a 'scirocco's in absense' gtg!

The rubber would have been on the car before resto, and the wings were VW , must admit I'd not noticed before, so can only assume its an early thing, can't imagine finding them will be easy though!! And even if heritage has them ( like all the other bits I'd be interested in!) if you don't know the etka number ......... :dash:
Pics!!....... I'd like to see it myself!
