More jobs done - changed driver's side CV - thus curing the rattle on take off.

Adjusted the shifter linkage and now have 1st gear for the first time - woohoo! Fitted the Techtonics quickshift while I was there.

I knew something wasn't quite right with the spark/timing so I reset everything and changed plugs/leads/cap/arm and...

OMFG how fast is this car!!

And my d'oh! moment of the day - or past 18 months actually - I was given a Koni adjuster for the Weitec coilovers and only found out today that Weitecs wind the opposite way to Konis. I'd followed the arrow on the Koni adjuster and had been driving on "full hard" the whole time.

I did think that suspension was a tad firm :D

Glad to hear you've found a bit of enthusiasm for it again though.

Well, another years MOT - with Tim's help at The Phirm. Only slight bother was a torn steering rack gaiter which was replaced in a few minutes.

Also had a new timing belt + tensioner fitted, car re-timed runs like a dream now.
