Cheers mate. Wouldn't it be nice to have a big heated garage to work in for the winter.

I wish!! Welding and fab work is all done by a friend of mine, I'm sure he'll be chuffed with the compiments 8-)

I stick to basic mechanical stuff and a bit of electrics.

I've seen a lot worse done by 'professionals'. You should buy him a few beers if you're not already paying him.
Me too, he does a lovely job, very neat. He does me very favourable mates rates!

Certainly would! Could do with a replacement back as well so that my slipped discs didn't cut short my car fettling time!

Blimey, I have trouble dragging myself out there with no injuries!

Turns out I'm a dick, I haven't used her for a while because she's running too hot. Had someone look at her today, I managed to air-lock the cooling system

All sorted now, I'll take her for a spin tomorrow to make sure all is well. 8-)

Haven't done too much over winter. Attacked some of the bubbly bits when we had a few dry days (there are no pictures after painting as it pissed down whilst I was painting, wrecked the paint, so I sulked and left here like that for a few weeks)

Luckily none of the scabs were right the way through, just all on the surface.

Gave the rear valence a bit of a tidy up as well. Once all the welding is done, I'll get these bits painted properly.

So yesterday I fitted the Mini wheels and tyres (the old tyres were perished and rock hard)

Dropped her off for MOT, coilovers fitting and alignment and a service. Got a call this morning to pop in and see if the height was right

Looks good to me, I don't want this one scraping the ground, I want to be able to park on my own drive! He's going to raise it up 10mm all round to allow for a bit of settling.
