mmmmmm I wonderrrrrrrrr ?????????????
Well whoever it is, it always seems to have a Mk1 on its back - or a Skoda!
It needs a damn good clean, at any rate! Too much brick dust, plaster and other general crap (The Nissan that is - not the Roccos, wouldn't wish to blaspheme the holy grail)
.......... :-D :-o

The able pairing were spotted near the Nurburgring a month or so back, and the month before, a French car at the rear!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car finally came home to the new garage last week (only 4 months extra than I had planned for) . So now its full steam ahead. I have removed my old front panel and the donor early panel I got from germany seems to line up sweet. (which was a worry due to the other front panel having crash damage.)

Glyn is back on the scene. He did the repair and welded the front panel on this Sunday.

Aruns hole filling skills look well with the rest of the bay...... only about 200 more left to fill.....

Sunday evening I removed the head liner with Leah and cleaned all the glue off with petrol. The help was highly appreciated

I have not done much work on the body worth writing about but I have been getting the Mad'ins finished off! I took them to my friend Brian to fit the tyres. I have to say a massive thank you to him, he treated them like they were his own. After a bit of head scratching between us all with the first wheel, the other three were plain sailing.

I couldn't help finishing early today to get them trail fitted.

I was worried about front splitter clearance. 1.5 inches is pretty much perfect. :pilot:

I had abit of mock build this weekend.

I bolted up the wings and rolled the arches. This is the best I can get it sitting on the AVO's. Roll on Series 1 stubby coilovers and narrow wish bone.

Arun also came round sunday evening and boxed off 25 more holes!

I have now un-mocked and raised up the car to get the last of the rust repairs done and get the all the panels hung and lined up. Glyn came round this morning and repaired the N/S inner wing top. He did excellent job as always! I was very lucky to have a some donor wing top that Marshall cut off the blue car which did make things a bit easier but not much!

I will let the pictures do the talking!

Not a right lot to report this week. On tuesday my job was rained off so I polished my early fuel cap. It was quite rusty which has left some minor pitting around the lock but this adds to its charm!

Then today I just continued with interior prep. Not much fun but has to be done.

Ive just been prepping and buying all the running gear and engine parts I needed from GSF/eBay. I have sent the remaining rusty parts away with my mate josh to be blasted, primed and painted. & Gyln is narrowiing my wishbones 10mm.

This update goes out to friends! :pilot:

Cheers Effy and sorry I have been selling my spares as I go Justvolks.

The car is booked in to be painted in Feb so Its full steam ahead getting everything ready. Nothing like abit of preasure to drive things along. Im just lucky that Jan is a quiet month work wise.

I have carried the engine bay theme inside the car. Filling holes but keeping the factory shapes. Arun has been a saint coming welding everything up. he must hate me... I hate myself for doing this haha

Here are some progress pictures!
