hi guys,
names nigel montgomery aka Monty, from south wales (swansea)
just bought my 1st vw last week...
a 1986 gt, in silver with the black bodykit, LOL
owned loads of minis, capris and mk1 & 2 escorts, so as you can guess i dont know a LOT about vw's, so be preppered for some really stupid questions off me,
btw, bought the car with no tax or mot for £150, not too bad eh?

Hi,im Dan from Newcastle,I have a 1990 Scirocco scarla with a 2l bottom end with a big valve head,cam(cant remember what duration) and branch manifold,its looking a bit scruffy at the mo but hopfully will start getting it sorted this winter.Below is an old ish pic,just looks a bit scruffyer now
Im thinking about painting it a really dark brown/purple.....

Hello All,
wanted to introduce myself to you all, 40 somthing looking to get my teenage years back and buy a Mrk 1 Scirrcco, had a few when i was working for a Lancasters Vw back in the early 80s, cracking car and i was so upset when i had to sell mine when the kids come along.
Just found the forum by chance and its a cool site!

Hi all.
Thought I would introduce myself (Kate) and my car - MkII Storm (Jolly):
Owned her for a long, long time - since 1991. Shown here with 'Sunday' wheels on, normally has other everyday alloys for runs out.
Hope she is liked.
