wired in the fuel pumps and they both work but annoyingly not on the key so somethings gone wrong with the fuse box wiring or the fuel pump relay dent work
roll on the summer and longer days!!! working in the dark sucks

should it fire up and run i will put up a post on the wiring so anyone else wanting to do the abf conversion can

also gotta wire in the immobilizer properly, twisted wire ends and tape will only take you so far


this one i do know

black wire = live feed
2 brown wires= can be soldered together as they're earths so connect up to a good earth in the loom or bolt to metal
grey/white wire= to the ECU and should be a proper connector that can be salvaged from original loom
grey = feed to OBD plug for diagnosis of immobiliser and ECU

the big ring bit is the key reader so if you buy an abf engine make sure you salvage the key with the immobilizer and ECU

the drivers seat is in! I've always wanted a bucket seat!

Looking good bud, I’ve got buckets on the seat and they are amazing bit of a pain as they are 5 point harnesses as well but very comfy!

not much has happened of late, a trip down to knuckledusters yeilded a bonnet cable so i dont have to reach through the headlight aperture to open the bonnet now and i can put the headlight in.
ive also ordered a load of silicone hosing so hopefully can finish the cooling system.
annoyingly ive managed to loose the thermostat housing elbow i bought a few weeks ago
i need to tidy up inside and fit in the dash board and door cards but do you think i can find where i put all the screws
just as well i suppose as i need to fit a waterproof membrane to the inside to make sure it stays water tight.
is there a good way to wrap up the wiring loom to tidy it up? ive been looking at loom tape but wondered if theres something better and maybe heatproof?
i must remember to fill the gearbox with oil too
then it will be ready for mot test hopefully if all the lights still work.

Haha the screw situation I know only to well lol.

As for the loom it’s not heat proof but it does withstand it very well. We use it at work I only know it as cable sock.
