There was a red Mk1 GTi in the local VW dealership (Newton Abbot) for an MOT.

A very nice looking MK 1 in Indiana red V reg I think, passing between Foxfield and Grizebeck (Cumbria) this evening. I was not aware of one living close to me - maybe passing through?
I was in the red Lotus going the opposite way

I was too shocked to have time to flash or wave!!!

Spotted a few Scirocco's at Retro Rides Goodwood the weekend, but the one I'm most interested in is the one which had the Porsche 3.2 dropped into it! Didn't get the chance to speak to the owner!

Think this is just the R32, but with a Porsche engine cover, rare cover though!

Brown coloured Mk2 at the Watling Road roundabout, Bishop Auckland, today at around 3.30pm. Registration G***WBB.

Blue Mk1 storm, W reg on The A39 on 12th Sept at 5pm ish near Bawdrip, I was in my white Mk1 Golf and flashed + waved.

I was in shock as need seen a Mk1 on the road around here in many years.

White GTII on a K-plate heading towards Exeter on the A30 on Sunday morning.

Black GTII, also on a K-plate, on the road between Tintagel and Boscastle. Seems the West Country is relatively thick with active mk2s.
