Saw a dark grey GT2 on the Kingsland road east london last night. Anyone on here?

saw a rocco this morning junction 12 to 11 on the M4, it was white Reg K765 SUT exchange waves I was in my rocco, first one I have seen whilst driving mine for a year.

Black early mk2 non-bodykitted, A reg - exchanged waves with the driver as we passed each other on A259 just outside Newhaven, East Sussex - part of my new daily commute to work when I was driving in my paprika red scirocco scala between Seaford and Brighton...(if I am allowed to spot myself..!)

That's weird....I drive my paprika red Scala from Newhaven to Lewes every day! How come we haven't spotted each other?

On the way back from Inters today, spotted an E reg red GT just outside Banbury.

Got my hopes up for a moment there as Banbury is my neck of the woods. Alas, mine is a H reg GTII

I live near Stratford but I'm always around Banbury/Leamington too. Nice to know there are other owners locally! Never seem to see them about

As far as I know, there's at least 3 near Banbury. Mine is a red GTII as mentioned and there's 2 black/dark grey ones too. I think one of them belongs to a member on here too.

I have a k reg in metallic grey gt2 on outskirts of Banbury

Saw a grey MK2 this afternoon about 4pm on the A24 near Dorking, Surrey. I was waving erratically out of the sunroof... I was too far away to see a reg.

Is yours the one with the 5 spoke wheels that are quite dished? Kind of like these:



If so, I'm quite fond of that one.


Banbury is becoming quite a good place for older watercooled VWs. I keep spotting a MK1 Golf around, loads of nice MK2 and MK3 Golfs and a really nice saloon, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. Possibly a Santana? I think I actually see more nice watercooled ones than aircooled now. Or maybe I'm just noticing them my route to work now goes through town.

Lovely red mk2 TTT plate by the horse and groom in merrow/guildford at about 2-3 and bumped into Luke on the way home from work. Red rocco day I feel.

That should have said the A43. I was too far away from the roundabout to see the numberplate that day.

Spotted you on there this morning though heading towards Kettering, was in my Golf waiting to cross over towards Sywell.
