Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
I also want to blank off the aerial hole in the wing, I never use the radio and think it will look tidier. The hole is about 15mm and the only aerial blanks I could find, that were polished or chromed, were 30mm!! I managed to find rubber grommets at the right size but didn't really want a basic grommet in there.
Found these, they are apparently 18mm across so should be a good fit, I've ordered a set to see.

Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
I was going to leave the inner crap guards off the front so that you could see my newly painted and detailed inner wings, but I don't want to be worrying about stone chips and the like so they're going back on (until she get's lowered and then it depends if they get in the way).
So quick trip down to local fastner place for some stainless fixings, £2 later...

I still need to clean and polish the guards but I can do that while she's away being welded up.

Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
I dug all four wheels out from hiding, they're not perfect but neither is the car so they should look ok. I'm going to keep the 195/50x15's on the rear but change the fronts for 165/50x15, it looked over-tyred when I tried the 195's on the front.

Inside where the bumper irons go looks nice and solid so the tinworm doesn't seem to have crept too high.

Re: 1982 1.5 CL Auto
The boot carpet was a little bit damp and I found a small puddle in the back

But apart from that it all looks very clean
