Scirocco Register

Red Mk2 (Scala or GT2) parked in the car park of the Reed Boardall warehouse next to the A1 at Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire last night (2nd April). My eyes were drawn to it whilst travelling past on the A1.

seen a white mk1 scirocco gti tucked up in a window company premises today owned by the owner of the company.
i had a very pleasant chat with him as he said the car was to undergo a full resto, so i pointed him towards here and hopefully might see him and the car again.

A crashed E plate white mk2 on the side of the road near Santa Pod this morning. Didn't get a great look at it as it was on a crossroads, but the driver's side rear quarter and rear end looked in decent condition. Front end had taken a shunt though.

not a scirocco, but i saw a delorean on my way to work on the back of a trailer, the stainless panels looked awesome and the whole car looked in pretty good nick.

Hey, they are so cool. There are a couple around my area in Surrey. I have seen two drive past following each other on a couple of occassions. My friend who is studying at Surrey Uni has also seen one a couple of times parked up!!

Keep spotting a black MK2 parked in the estate that I work on in Adderbury. Looks pretty standard.

Was sat waiting at traffic lights in my 1985 GTL on the northbound A503 Seven Sisters Road at the junction of Hornsey Road in London about half an hour ago.

See a guy in a small silver van to my left looking at the car (and I'm thinking he's thinking 'look at that old wreck') but he beeps me, rolls down his window and holds up his phone showing a Mk1 in gold, tells me his name is Paul and he has two 1980 Mk1s!

I asked if he knew of the Register and he said he was on it but couldn't remember his handle, so I told him mine.

Total random chance, wouldn't have happened if traffic hadn't been so bad.

Made my day.

White mk2 driving between Whitwell and Worksop heading towards chesterfield . Screamed with excitement but sadly wasn't in mine ;(

Saw this beaut parked on a side road on the north side of Chesterfield.

Mk2 GL in Cosmos blue I think. HJN ***Y. I was driving past in my GT when I saw it out of the corner of my eye, did a U-turn and had to get a pic. Also spotted the Jade green metallic GT again, this time near the old football ground at Saltergate.

9pm tonight spotted Jade green MK2 Scirocco (J Reg?) on A6 Blackrod Bypass, was in white GT2 heading towards Adlington. Is it the car spotted in Westhoughton

seen a white scirocco mk2 cant remember the reg driving away from maypole roundabout this afternoon as i was driving towards maypole, gave him a toot and exchanged waves. must have been around 7ish
