Dont know about taking it mate, got nowhere undercover to keep her!
Hopefully something is happening though in the near future where I can build a lean too at the side of the house :D

Jim could meet me at clacketts and pass it to the left hand side. Then i can drop it off at the lock up?

Should be good for borrowing a MK1 seat from this end depending if the wife is going

Not sure that a Mk1 seat will fit a Mk2, as the front runner on the Mk2 is deeper than the Mk1.

Well that was a fun Sunday afternoon! Took the Scirocco out to see if these problems could be ironed out but they still seem to be there :(
Drove her hard and fast and she handled it well! No Sweat!
Tidying to do before SR Beaulieu which I for one am definately looking forward to..did I mention its my birthday that day too ;) (No bumps as I am getting too old lol) I am sure I can pony up some cakes though

Yes Jake! Defo want to get that tank dropped and investigated - just dont sound right mate.
Planning on getting to the car on the Sunday at 7am 'ish to tinker and stuff and perhaps get up to the M25 and cruise down with Glen,Rach,Sander etc :)
Talk more when I pop up perhaps 3rd/4th Sept!

Yes people, I am picking up the White Lady Valver with a run through the Hindhead tunnel too! Getting her ship shape for Beaulieu!

Word on the street is that my problem with performance might be related to the ECU not advancing at 3000rpm or thereabouts which is possible as it does not seem to pull further up the rev range. Could there be light at the end of this horrible tunnel???!!
I have another ECU to try and perhaps this will be the problems resolved.

The old girl is off the road again now - only enjoyed her for a couple of occasions but loved every minute!
Not sure when the next time will be as life changes again mean money is tight and whats happening is far more important that the car at the moment, no doubt our Jakey will keep her well
