Well, its been a fun few weeks playing with body work!

Somewhere between deciding to race my VR6 golf next year, then selling it! I have now decided to do what I have wanted for the last two years and thats to Drag Race a Scirocco.

So, Seeing as its already on the way I have decided to race the car now! :pilot:
I have Direct Port Nitrous in mind as well as some usual racing refinements in race seats, harnesses etc..

Now this has come as a shock to me too lol but its a head rules heart situation on the multiple car front and a heart rules everything on racing a Scirocco. :yahoo:

Wish me luck and of course I will be keeping things up to date :D

here is a little update,
Car is now at the stage where all I need to purchase are a set of wheels, Race seats, exhaust sections and a DP Nitrous Kit!

Car will be finished off with 800 wet and dry by hand tonight and then a date will be set to get her in for the spray job.

Got myself a Mountney 12" steering wheel and gear knob. Ordered a quick release system boss too!

The ever so cool door mirrors that fit perfectly to the top crease on the door

This is what I am aiming for in looks although the wheels will be different...

Pics on page 14 of the panels in primer, they have since been rubbed down with 1000 wet and dry and are ready for paint all bar a few bits that need some stopper put in.

Exhaust is ready for fitting.
Won a poly race seat with cover on Ebay for £23.52!!!!! Better than £140 new
16v Power rohr pipe and a piper-x panel filter have been purchased.
Things are coming on well.

All needs to be together for the testing day we have at Santa Pod for 28th February.. Pop along if you have a chance..

Last pics to be added in a couple of days and that will be it until you see it at a show or on the strip!

Thanks everyone... :beers:
