There is a section that fits into the midpipe and does allow movement. Very minimal ( like the bowl style downpipe with the u clamps )
If i do experience any issues then i shall get the lads to add one on. Image

I'm sure that's how Paypal got invented - some guy trying to hide his online car parts purchases :-D

I see you have no flexible section between the 4,2,1 and mid section is that what the exhaust place recommended?
I ask because I also have no flexible section between my 4,2,1 and my original standard exhaust and wandered if I should fit some thing?
Hi mark, all the pictures ive seen dont show any type of 'flexi' that you would normally see on standard motors. So im going to stay with the setup i have [emoji106]

I have the same sort of set up as you scrappy1382, and it’s been on the car for about a 1 and 1/2 years, as you say there is a little movement in the joint.
I did read some where that you are meant to put some sort of flexi in there but mines been ok so far, I do make sure I’m not hard going on or off the accelerator.

I was just wandering what others have done and what your exhaust fitted suggested. :-D

Nice Storm!! I didn't care for brown at first either, but when you see it in person, especially in the sun, it looks pretty nice. Those wheels really look nice on there too!

no worries. its a very well known car throughout the scirocco group. so plenty of people know how much work has gone into it to make it a nice condition storm.
thing is,,, i went through a crazy stage of buying lots of sciroccos over the last 18 months in the hope i would find the ideal/perfect replacement for my blue one i spent 4 years in restoring. some have been failures, and some have been really nice/ enjoyment to drive. however, i lost the connection since my A reg got written off. and my insurance didnt help as they didnt put it down as agreed value either, so i lost out on the possibility of getting her fixed up. oh, nobody wanted to take it on either, so i made the hurtful choice of stripping it down to keep other sciroccos mobile.
For now , i have moved on to different ventures, i have gone back to 2 wheels, its something i feel i must do , to enjoy myself, to tick it off the bucket list. so to speak.
Im not leaving the group, or this site, i will still be in the background. just not with a scirocco.
you guys and girls have all been amazing. its been a pleasure being within this small family.
