Thanks for all the advice.

Going ok so far, everything stripped of except injectors which don't want to budge. Could I just leave them in and disconnect fuel lines at metering head end?

Can't do much more until exhaust clip tool arrives in the post. Also need extended M12 spline bit, my short one is too fat to be able to get to the 2 head bolts at the right end.

Whilst removing one of the vacuum pipes one of the connectors snapped off. (To the left of the yellow section) . Any ideas where I could get a replacement? Thanks

Head gasket replacement complete, went well all things considered. Only 2 things which were a a bit of a struggle were; 1) lifting the head on and off and 2) the dreaded exhaust c clips. For the clips I bought the proper tool on ebay which was dreadful "neilsen" quality, the roll pins fell out straight away. The other problem was it was impossible to remove once the clips were in place. I had to hacksaw the first one off, bought another for the other clip and that had be hack sawed too. Apart from that all pretty straightforward. Back up and running now. Thanks for all the advice.
