I go to Southall, which is right next to Northolt, at least once a week so am happy to collect these if required.

mralpine92 lives a few minutes down the road from me so could collect his from me in person.
I'm sure I'll bump into GTXTRA between now and the national meet which hopefully will take care of the other two.

I'd probably want to buy one myself once your postal service is up and running :good:

re chopperoli , will take some pics of a family members citi golf tommorow , it is a new model with the 1.4 fuel injected motor , after around 2006 they were pretty much all fuel injected . running the bosch mp9 system , but vdub had a thing with bosch thats why eventually it dropped of the market , only now with the new up do they have something to take its place , at first it was the polo but that sort of ran in the next higher bracket.

had a look at some of the comments from the link that chopperoli attached ,

not sure on the brake linkage but it looks like an escort setup but will check.

a few guys knocked the styling , but what vw tried to do was sort of the theme of the beetle , was a good cheap , easily maintained runaround , and the last golf 1 was just that , excellent student car .easy to maintain no funny things on it .

in perspective where a new a4 audi costs me 550k to buy , my house was 900k compared to uk standards it is big ( 3 bedrooms , 2 full bathrooms , lounge , tv room , study , kitchen , entrance hall , dining room , 90 000l pool , double garage , full standalone flat - bedroom , bathroom , lounge and carport , 2 entrance gates . and plenty grass to mow )
now the citi golf was the cheapest car on the market for years and by a long shot , nothing came near it and was besides the toyota corolla the top seller . and they still fetch good prices today and i think the bumpers and all the other stuff they updated just helped it out of the 80's.

3 kits on their way , will look into cheaper postage as it cost more to courier than the parts themselves , but guys it should be there within 10 days

ok got better prices on postage , 1 kit is just under 1kg so postage to london is R650-00 ( around 30 pounds ) so with kit comes to 70 pounds to london , not sure if they will have any charges that side.

the previous 3 i sent with dhl and cost R2570-00 for 3 kg ( around 120 pounds )
