That's it, decision made...I'm going to sell my Scirocco Mk1
. Need to find and attach all the bits from the garage and then it's going up for sale (don't be fooled by the pic, it doesn't look nearly as good in person). I'll use it to drive to work until it is sold...a sad day indeed

Well...I've had the car for a few years (5 or 6) and, as justification to myself, I was going to have it as my every day car...but having spent a significant amount of money, and with no time to do anything myself, I've realised it's never going to be that all year round/every day use car that I'd envisaged. I could put it into long term storage but I know I'd leave it there until I couldn't afford the storage anymore. I want someone else to take it on and do the bits that need doing and enjoy it. Someone has offered me decent money for it but I've got a feeling he wants to sell it off as parts which I'd never allow (especially when it has an MOT!...and I can't imagine it's worth as much as he thinks in parts!). I'm going to enjoy using it as I get it together to sell and then it's off.

Right, pretty much ready to sell now. Just got it MOT'd again, put most of the interior back as well and have taken some pics. Need someone to tell me where I can get the fuel relay mod for the fuse box so I don't have to worry about it burning :)
Will be using the template to put together an ad. If it doesn't sell then it's going to the back of a friend's garage for a long time :(

I was out, making some changes to the Scirocco, although I did get some driving in too.
Removed the rear wiper:
And added a few new stickers that I made at work out of etch effect window vinyl. First one was based on something someone said to me outside a Co-op once:
And hope the club doesn't mind me making my own sticker for this:

Another quality Sunday spent tinkering with the Scirocco. Finally gave it a good clean and wax ready for the meet next week.
The roof is finally red, rather than the slightly matte pink it was before:

my mum took it out the other day as she wanted to tow the trailer to collect some wood for the fire.
theres something really horrifying when you hear your car start up when your not in it.
but a detailing session is well over due.
said detailing happened as its been dry, i even had chance to fix the paint on the drivers door!!

Hoovered out Yoda and started getting everything ready for the weekend.
No point washing or polishing as it's four different shades of Lhasa Green. Removed a couple of bits from the cabby scrapper we bought and swapped them over.
