Re: Driveshaft changed, FINALLY SORTED!
Hello all,
I just got my car back after some body work was done and also the suspension was lowered. While trying to get it into my garage I heard a scrape
Now the gear stick is all wobbly and reverse is first.
Is this the gear linkage issue? And is the car too low now? Plus it won't come out of the garage now!
Thanks in advance

Re: Driveshaft changed, FINALLY SORTED!
That happened when I changed my driveshaft - presumably why you replied on here? Look down the back around the brake servo area but further down (to right of engine at back of engine bay near gear box) and see if a link is loose. If so, it may have just popped off like mine did. All i did was pop it back on. It's been fine since and that was ages ago. Sounds exactly like the same happened to you as did me - floppy gearstick and reverse is forward.
Tornado GTII: Koni, Flo-flex, Girling, Weber, K&N, Powerflow, Goodridge, ASA, Yokohama... to fit: stainless 4 branch.

Re: Driveshaft changed, FINALLY SORTED!
The drive shaft hasn't been replaced - I just did a search of old posts for floppy gear stick and reverse is forward!
Thanks. I'll have a look in that area to see if anything is loose. Not something I have done before. To pop it back on - does that require just pushing it back or are some tools needed?
