Right. So I've cleaned all the dizzy, made sure by leads were dry as a nuns
Proverbial even had it gas tested to see if it was running rich. Checked the thermotime switch was working and that fans were cutting in when they should etc.
It was running a midges part rich so I've adjusted that.
It still isn't happy. At me mates garage it fired up abit slow but always started from cold , which narked me as it never got that far with me! So whatever it was magically fixed.
I got home, changed the oil, fired her up to get the new oil round the system and plop same problem again. Started up, erratic idle then died and wouldn't start again.

Start off slow and methodical, that doesn't work so shout curse and hit it till it works.
