So a quick update having fitted the weitecs last night, after sorting the schoolboy error of adjusting the damping to fully firm, now trying to fine tune them. Current impressions are that the back end is over sprung for its weight.

Anyone know where I might be able to find spring rates for the kit?

its worth turning them down to fully soft for a while to let them bed in.

might sound daft but in my experience, they tend to last longer.

The fronts are on fully soft and the rear are a quarter turn above fully soft. I did notice that the adjusters are very sensitive, half a turn was over damped and way to hard and fully soft was under damped and bouncing on the springs too much.

Ok so Weitec supply these coilovers with 60N/mm front springs and 50N/mm rears, which works out at about 342lb/inch and 285lb/inch in old money. That's smooth European tarmac and track toy rates in something as light as a Scirocco.

Can someone else with Weitecs do me a favor and check the markings on the main springs for me please? I'm curious to know if you have been supplied with the same rate springs or not.

The markings on mine are:

Front: 60-170
Rear: 50-200

Thanks
