Ah yes, I was miles away..

yes you would need a Mk1 Golf/Scirocco big block gearbox, flywheel, clutch, clutch cable, gearlinkage and speedo cable

MikeH wrote:Cool... Mk1 Golf and Mk1/2 Scirocco gearboxes are pretty much the same, btw, although being a 1.1 litre, yours probably has an 084/085 gearbox rather than the 020 type you get on the bigger engines. You may well know that already, but just to be sure.
Yes.

That is what is goingo to happen.

Now i'm with many doubts about installing or not Golf mk1 fender's or not.

Like this american Rocco:

They poke 1cm more than the standard ones.

What it's your opinion??

I like very much the way they fit the car, it appers they have born in there.LOL!!

I want a race look rocco, very wide and low.

I'll run 15" Compommotive CX400 in 7x15 ET0 and 8x15 Et -12 with 165 50/15;

And

16" BBS RS 077 in 7x16 ET 18 and 7.5x16 ET 15 with 165 45 16;

For now.

The green rocco is already in the body shop and very soon wil be there also the silver one, to start working on them.

As for the engine will be 1.5cc or 1.6cc with 4speed gearbox.

Anyone knows wich is the best 5speed gearbox to install on the rocco with TS engine??

Cheers
