Gearknob?

Perhaps someone glued it on when they bought one of those hand brake locks before you owed the car. The lock used to fit to the hand brake and the gearstick and they used to come with some glue to stop you undoing the gear knob and removing the lock. Might explain why you cant undo the gear knob..

Yes Rohan, you use a gearlever lock don't you, must be glued on then mate!

I do indeed ... although its my own and didnt come with the car .. however it is a possibility that it has been glued.. I'll see what the best option is then ...
