ET45 will make them tuck alot. the 5" barrels are needed for clearence on the inside of the arch and coilover.

0.5" dishes so it tucks like the trail fitted picture. :vcool:

The interior of your fenders is like this:

It's from an amrican rocco, if see with more attention you notice that he cut all the metal inside.

This is what i'm planing to do, and maybe after some fender-rolling to see if i can get an extra mm's.

The stock fender:

Edit: Did you already saw that irish rocco that i was talking about?

Im having second thoughts about 15's and 16's... You can't tuck much dish without tubbing the inner arches as the bottom of the turrets gets in the way. I would like to keep the engine bay looking original or I would tub.

I was tempted to go with 5's.. Hero!! :hi:

The low off is still on though :beers:

Few of the new parts.. Most of the others are already stashed away out of harms way ;)

New Dbilas inlet manifold. its much shorter than the old one which means longer ram pipes

Image

Fitted to the carbs. ready for the engine bay mock up.then I will strip the carbs for a rebuild.

Image

Early Aluminium sill covers imported from the states. Im very tempted to polish these up.

Image

Megajolt ignition. this means I can bin the dizzy and hide all the gubbins

Image

Last but not least the part ive been looking for an early front panel from a jolly nice chap from Germany.

Nice upgrades,

Keep Going!!

PS: Sorry for the silly question, but why do you need an early front panel, it's any difference to the late front panel??

I thought they were the same, similar.

Cheers

Cheers man :buddy:

Early panels have an extra inch of metal on the bottom (duck bill) Mine has crash damage and is rusty inside. So as I needed to replace it I heald out for an early panel. It makes the front end lower to the ground ;)

I have split the Mad'ins down to refurb the centres. I baked the wheels at 200* in the oven for 10 minutes and with a tap of a rubber mallet they split nice and easy apart from one! I put it back in the oven for another 40minutes. rubber mallet, wood and hammer, jumping on the wood would not budge the centre.

The only thing I thought I could do was cake it in thinners over night, add abit more in the morning and a bit of fire for good measure
