Scirocco Register

The paint looks to be a shade out but I'm not fussed, I'm going for rust free, I don't think it will show too much once I blend it to get rid of the masking line.

Had another go with aerosols on the inside of the wing





The last aerosol I used looked to be an old can and the colour was a bit muddy, looks better with a couple of coats with new cans.

Got another hour or so to play today, attacked the front valance and sills with de-greaser. Came out well but I couldn't get the dent out of the valance, I can't get behind it properly.

Got the stripes off (and the door protector)

Inside of the other wing is finished

Little scab on the passenger door to sort (I'll worry about that once the rear end is welded up)

Cleaned all the grommets and put them back in. I've managed to lose one of the clips for the bonnet release cable :(

Got one wing back on, looks a bit tidier under there now
