Roadtrip done and picked the up the Corrado G60 on Tuesday, such a shame to break it as it was clearly a mint car before mishap...

Number plate is already sold (G60 XVW) and basically engine, gearbox and brakes will go into the Rocco. All other parts from the Corrado will be sold or scrapped...

So the Impul's finally came back from refurb today, the original idea was to get them polished by Mike the Polisher. He's had them for weeks and polished the first one no problem but the second one showed a lot of pitting (they are 20 years old!) So we had to re-think and have gone for a more traditional refurb, finish is mint close up! ;)

In other news picked this up... In case I need it! ;)

Still waiting the the Scirocco 16V manifold due to shipping "issues" and managed to source some US floor mats which are currently lost in California somewhere!

However this little rare gem turned up today. Having a badge painter on tap will come in handy! Yeah its does say GTI ;)

Check the fitment of the caliper adaptors carefully, the identical ones i have the hole centres are slightly different than the wheel hub bolt holes. Makes the countersunk screws not fully engage the seat on tensioning, other prob was you may have to grind the ears on the bearing housing to fit in the cut outs without interference...
