1986 Scirocco GT Nut & Bolt Restore OEM spec

Had to forget about the tank and exhaust for a while and push on with the front end, so here is how it stands as of today...

Front end will be stripped over the weekend and expect updates next week on the front end.

Looking good mate. The Audi Ronal alloys are one of my favourite wheels, but why put hammer-on balancing weights on, stick ons don't cause corrosion?

I'm guessing from other bits on the car like still the same set of front disc pads from new and still the original rear tyres, they will of been on from new. Wheels will be refurbed and re balanced for next year

Bumpers all done now.. Just got to wait till new year for the front suspension and drivetrain parts to be blasted and powder coated.

Progress has slowed down abit, waiting for things to be blasted..

So ordered a load of new bolts, bearings, cv boots etc & new disc backing plates. Oh and had a little clean, a little bit more to be done but 95% is covered by the plastic arch cover, diff box will be cleaned and painted aswell as the drive shaft.
