Nice rotisserie set up :good: hoping to get my Mk2 Golf to this stage for welding.

You haven't messed about and have obviously done your homework on underseal removal :yup:

Great seeing full on projects like this, the body looks really solid to :good:

Great work, look forward to seeing this progress.

Regarding the colour change mexico beige would be my choice out of the options you have said.

Thank you.

Im lending the spit from a mate as hes not using it at the moment. I helped another mate strip the under side of Mk1 Golf GTi so got well trained and they have alot more gunk on them than Scirocco :hehe:

Great work Winston, Its going to be special when its finished.

I think as mr brown says the colour you already is perfect for the interior but mexico beige would be sweet as well and then you will have your own personal mark on the car.

Good luck and keep up the hard work :training:

Cheers tobyio. . Ive kind of forgot about the colour now thats along way off!!! :hehe:

I finally got some spare time to get some primer so the power tools could come out. :P

we have a habbit of killing angle grinders at are unit from bosch to draper It makes no difference. So I bought a cheapy from stax, it had a 5 year guarantee, must be alright eh? It last about 15 minutes. Then I got angry because I couldn't get the wire brush off

Image

I ended up spending the rest of my time with a drill and wire wheels, progress was slow. The worst part of the car is the front inner wings so I spent my time there. It has already had two lots of different repairs in its life time, one lot being to a good standard and another lot of not so good. The top part the wing bolts to is screwed but ive got no photos of it and ive uncovered quite a few repairs that need doing! -_-

I left it looking like this. It still needs plenty more work FML!!

Im going back up there shortly :pilot:
