Hi every one, I joined a few months ago to help in my search for a Mk1. The search is now over and you may recognise my 1980 Storm from the classifieds section. So, thanks goes to ‘sciroccy’ for my second foray into Scirocco ownership (see my post in ‘Show us your mk1’ for my first lol!).

No doubt there will be more posts from me asking for help & advice as I continue the work started by sciroccy. The plan is, in the next few years, to have a bare metal (hopefully there’s enough left!) restoration when I’ve saved enough ££££££££££!

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the Scirocco members club and thought I'd introduce myself.

I have two Mk1 Storms, a '79 and an 80.

Cheers
Laurent.

Here are some photos of them.

Thanks for the lovely comments and welcoming me into the club. They're both far from perfect. My Silvergreen is going for a bare metal resto next year so then she'll be perfect.

Have a look and keep an eye on the diary dates, alot of the shows are on the same weekend each year. I guess it will get updated soon.

Hi, I'm Steve,

i had 3 GTX's in the past and loved em. currently i have a BMW Z4M, MAZDA MX5 MK1 BBR Turbo and run around in another mk1 mx5.
I'm fixing up a white scala 1988 carb. So far I've had the interior totally repaired and cleaned (laskia white). Also just replaced 2E2 with a new Weber a couple of days ago and now running so much better. Ive bought some snowflakes to repace the current wheels. Needs brakes sorting and plan on changing all components of the cooling system.
Im hoping to attend some meets in 2017 and meet some of you chaps. :pilot:
