Do you park on a slight hill?
Water may be coming in at the front.....I traced this on mine to windscreen bottom edge seal (passenger side)

hi guys, try checking your rear tailgate lock seal .they have a tendency to break up and perish, the water then finds its way via the boot to the interior.Good luck Doforus

Try the door trim, i had same , it turned out to be the speaker letting water in (i cut the plastic membraine to get better sound) ,it got under the lower trim ,under the carpet ,soaked the sound deadaning & ran along the chenel that runs from the front to the back under the seat . i have resealed the speaker hole & all is cool now :yup:

I would try the Windscreen surrounding edge, I have just finished repairing mine, the bottom edge of the windscreen has a drainage hole on both sides left and right, these tend to rot away closer to the edge of the screen, meaning that water no longer drips though to the whole but falls back into the car, on to the electrics and floor, the easiest way to check on the passenger side, is remove the glove box and put a torch in just under the top of the dashboard, if you can't see the rust from there a very small screw driver under the bottom edge of the windscreen outside, whilst the rubber is slightly raised to see if there is a any holes, the drainage hole is about 2 -3 inches away from the lower left edge.

if this is the case you will need to get the windscreen out to fix, I managed to replace the rotten metal with SS hacksaw blade that was the perfect size to replace the rotten metal with some filler to hold it in place.

Steve
