mk1 rear bench into a mk2?

Post by AndyPt »

Hi guys, quick question, does a mk1 scirocco storm bench fit into a mk2 scirocco?
As in, straight fit, no modification needed.

Thanks a lot.

I understand that you can swap the mk1 cushions etc onto a mk2 seat frame easily enough - Ant/Autoad has done this the other way around re mk2 seats into a mk1.

Straight in: Lower seat yes. Backrest no. Mk2 back rest latches differently and is slightly wider than the Mk1.

You can swap the material and padding over and jiggle about with the mk1 material fit to the backrest.
