brake pad retaining clips

Post by thebrief_1979 »

Hi - just changed my discs and pads on the front - however on the drivers side the clips won't stay in place they just keep on working themselves out after 100 yards of driving- I have been a bit generous with the copper grease - could this be the prob?

Thought I had solved it the other day as used the old ones but...... It happened again

This is the third time I have had the wheel off now - Haynes is as per usual - unhelpful - any ideas - I prob have them in wrong

Cheers

Car is 1993 gt2 with standard vented discs and pads
1993 MK2 Flash Red GT2 - sold
Mk1 gls - nearly
