needing paint!!!

Post by dreleask »

howdy folks, finally made a start tonight to getting the rocco refurbed, got the front all stripped down to the bare slam panel, but to cut a long story short where is the best place to get a good matching paint, NOT RATTLE CANS though and preferably solvent based!

Local bodyshop suppliers. Where the professionals in your area go. If you live near me, Ribble Valley/Blackburn, I could be more specific. Don't leave your bare metal without primer or you'll develop surface rust.

looking to get solvent based paint tho! bodyshops i believe are only allowed to legally use waterbased paints nowadays because of the "isocyanates" released when spraying solvent base paints!!

I have no trouble buying cellulose based from my bodyshop supplier, no isocyanates in this.
